My name is Jason Batten. I created FutureProofYourJob.com to explore a simple question: what actually helps people stay adaptable when the world of work keeps changing?
A lot of advice about automation and AI focuses on tools, predictions, or fear. In practice, what determines whether someone adapts well is less about the specific technology and more about how they think, decide, learn, and respond under uncertainty.
My background is in counseling and behavioral health management, and much of my professional work has involved helping people and companies navigate change, stress, and complex systems. Over time, it became clear that the same evidence-based behavioral principles that help people adapt in personal contexts also apply to careers, organizations, and technological disruption.
This site draws on those principles—along with real-world experience in regulated, rapidly evolving environments—to examine transferable skills that carry across roles, industries, and technologies.
FutureProofYourJob.com isn’t therapy, career coaching, or predictions about which jobs will disappear. It’s a place to think clearly about work, adaptability, and human judgment in a world that keeps changing.
